Introducing my new Skaha glaze
One of my favourite parts of being a potter is putting on my chemistry hat and creating new glaze combinations. I'm happy to launch my new Skaha glaze online. It features a deep, glossy cobalt glaze beneath a matte, stony glaze, and it reminds me of beautiful Skaha Lake in Penticton, with its cool blue water and the bluffs above it. Like Tofino, it is a variable glaze, so the colour and movement are different on every piece. I hope you enjoy this new glaze!
